Maine woman sentenced for stealing $500K from dental office

A Maine woman was sentenced to 90 days in jail for stealing $500,000 from a dental office where she worked, CBS affiliate WGME reported June 11.

Theresa York is a former dental practice manager for the office of Pamela Anzelc, DDS. 

Ms. York reportedly stole $500,000 that was supposed to be used to pay the practice’s taxes.

Ms. York was charged with theft in August, which she pleaded guilty to on June 10, WGME reported.

Ms. York is reportedly paying the dental office back in monthly installments.
