The offices of Margaret Parrish, DMD, and Charles Weston, Jr., DMD, in Aiken, S.C., were destroyed in a fire Feb. 13, ABC affiliate wjbf.com reported.

A bill has been introduced in California that would prevent private equity groups and hedge funds from interfering with the healthcare decisions of dentists.

A Texas dentist was recently arrested on charges of invasive visual recording at a dental office, valleycentral.com reported Feb. 12. 

The North Dakota Legislature is considering two bills that aim to increase dental care access for low-income and under-represented populations in the state, the North Dakota Monitor reported Feb. 12. 

The Oral Health Products Inclusion Act was introduced Feb. 11 to increase access to oral care items that can be purchased with flexible spending accounts and health savings accounts.

The Maine Veterans' Dental Network will continue to serve patients in 2025 through a grant from  Northeast Delta Dental.

The dental clinic at Ann Arbor, Mich.-based Washtenaw Community College has reopened, according to a Feb. 11 report by The Washtenaw Voice.
