1. Pennsylvania State Senate Democratic leader Jay Costa announced plans to reintroduce a bill that would restore dental care coverage for Medicare beneficiaries.

2. Lawmakers in Arkansas filed legislation to repeal a state law requiring fluoride in drinking water.

3. A new California law that removes barriers to becoming an orthodontic assistant recently passed.

4. New York Gov. Kathy Hochul signed legislation to expand access to fluoride treatments for pediatric dental patients.

5. The Illinois legislature passed a bill that would ban dental insurers from denying coverage for procedures they’ve previously authorized.
