1. Irvine, Calif.-based Smile Brands and partner A+ Dental Care are expanding access to dental services throughout the Sacramento, Calif., area by opening a new practice.
2. East Syracuse, N.Y.-based Aspen Dental opened a new practice in Boca Raton, Fla., on Oct. 10.
3. East Syracuse, N.Y.-based Aspen Dental expanded access by opening a new office Oct. 3 in Arden, N.C., a dental health professional shortage area.
4. Orange, Calif.-based Western Dental & Orthodontics has acquired San Diego Dental Specialty Center, effective Sept. 30.
5. Irvine, Calif.-based Smile Brands has partnered with Doerner Dental in Clearwater, Fla.
6. Waltham, Mass.-based Gentle Dental opened a new practice in Newton, Mass., bringing the dental service organization’s total number of practices to 40.
7. East Syracuse, N.Y.-based Aspen Dental opened a practice in Viera, Fla., which is in a county that lacks dentists and other dental professionals.
8. Woodbridge, Va.-based Light Wave Dental Management has added CarolinasDentist to its portfolio of affiliated dental groups and practices.
9. East Syracuse, N.Y.-based Aspen Dental opened a new office in Cumberland County, N.C.
