DSO milestones, achievements in 50 days

Here are eight DSOs and dental groups that have recently announced new achievements, including expanding into new states, reaching practice milestone benchmarks and receiving investments to continue growth, as reported by Becker’s since March 27:

  1. Cumming, Ga.-based OMS360 made its first practice addition in Pennsylvania and secured a new credit facility.
  2. Phoenix-based Salt Dental Partners experienced a 300% increase within its geographic footprint, a 261% increase in affiliated practice brands, a 282% increase in its doctor network and a 206% increase in practice locations over the past two years.
  3. Hackensack, N.J.-based Max Surgical Specialty Management secured a $77 million senior credit facility to fuel the company’s growth and expansion. 
  4. Dallas-based Smile Doctors added 16 affiliate locations during the first quarter, pushing its total network size past 550 total practices. 
  5. Sacramento, Calif.-based Straine Dental Management acquired its first practices in Maryland and Oklahoma.
  6. Salt Lake City-based SPP Dental Partners added its first orthodontic practice, partnering with Daniel Hulme, DDS.
  7. Salt Lake City-based Nuvia Dental Implant Center has opened a practice in Louisville, Ky., its first location in the state. 
  8. Dana Point, Calif.-based Silver Creek Dental Partners closed a debt financing agreement with Ivy Asset Group, a private credit firm.
