Three dental companies have named new chief dental officers since Aug. 1:
1. Dental laser company Biolase appointed Russell Morrow, DDS, as its chief dental officer, effective Nov. 1. Dr. Morrow most recently served as regional doctor mentor of operations for Heartland Dental. In that role, he oversaw the growth of more than 60 doctors in three states.
2. Clear aligner company Candid hired Brian Gray, DDS, as chief dental officer in September. Dr. Gray is a Washington, D.C.-based dentist who has trained nearly 30,000 dentists in clear aligner therapy.
3. Spectrum Health named Everod Coleman, DMD, its chief dental officer in August. He previously served as dental director for the company since 2020. In his new role, he will oversee the dental wellness initiatives at two Spectrum Health locations and inform the community about the resources the company provides.
