Here are five dental supply chain companies that leaders should know:
Benco Dental: Benco Dental was founded in 1930 and is led by Larry Cohen, the second-generation owner of the company and chief customer advocate. In February, Benco Dental acquired Popp Dental Supply.
Dentsply Sirona: Dentsply Sirona was founded in 2016 after a merger between Dentsply International and Sirona Dental Systems. The company recently appointed Simon Campion president and CEO, effective Sept. 12.
Envista Holdings Corp.: Envista consists of more than 30 brands. The company was founded in 2018 and is led by President and CEO Amir Aghdaei. In July, Envista expanded its implant partnership with Dentalcorp, a Canadian DSO.
Henry Schein: Henry Schein was founded in 1932 and is led by CEO and board Chair Stanley Bergman. The company recently acquired dental supply distributor Midway Dental Supply.
ZimVie: ZimVie was founded in March as a spinoff of Zimmer Biomet's dental and spine business. The company is led by President and CEO Vafa Jamali. In June, ZimVie added a new dental implant and treatment system to its portfolio of products in the U.S.
