1. Gen4 Dental Partners, Modis Dental Partners and SGA Dental Partners merged under one brand.
2. Japanese chemical manufacturer Mitsui Chemicals announced plans to acquire South Jordan, Utah-based Ultradent for $900 million.
3. Dental product manufacturer Ultradent acquired Azena Medical.
4. Orlando, Fla.-based Standard Dental Labs signed a letter of intent to acquire an unnamed dental laboratory in the Tampa Bay region.
5. Brooklyn Park Dental expanded its services into Annapolis, Md., with the acquisition of Lighthouse Family Dentistry.
