1. Dental Intelligence, a practice management software company, agreed to settle a proposed class-action lawsuit for $5.75 million.
2. The University of Illinois Chicago College of Dentistry completed its transition to Epic, joining UI Health on a unified electronic health records system.
3. Royal Palm Beach, Fla.-based Novudentics became the first dental practice to issue patients a Dental Passport — a portable, patient-owned digital record built by Intake Dental that travels with the patient rather than remaining in a single practice’s system.
