Vivian Letizia, DDS, was arrested Sept. 22 for allegedly writing oxycodone prescriptions for four individuals and filling those prescriptions herself at pharmacies, exclusively for her own personal consumption. She is also accused of ordering oxycodone to her practice for her own use.
Dr. Letizia appeared in court and was released with conditions. If convicted, the dentist faces up to 20 years in prison and a maximum $1 million fine.
