  • Aug. 31: CMS appointed Natalia Chalmers, DDS, PhD, as its first chief dental officer.
  • Sept. 1: Dental software company Planet DDS appointed Matthew Junk as director of conversions.
  • Sept. 1: Waltham, Mass.-based DSO 42 North Dental appointed Diane Vaccaro as chief marketing officer and Thomas Brouillard as CFO.
  • Sept. 2: Woodbridge, Va.-based dental leadership organization Lightwave appointed David Wurtzbacher as president.
  • Sept. 3: The University of Oklahoma in Oklahoma City named Paul Mullasseril, DDS, dean of its College of Dentistry.
  • Sept. 7: Delta Dental of Tennessee appointed Shanda Brown as chief diversity officer.
  • Sept. 7: Roshan Parikh, DDS, Walmart’s former head of dentistry, joined clear aligner company Candid as a clinical growth ambassador.
