Some of the largest DSOs have spent the last 45 days expanding their networks and investing in technology to enhance patient care.

Here is what seven DSO giants have done since August:

  • Henderson, Nev.-based PDS Health and United Concordia Dental launched a saliva screening pilot designed to improve periodontal disease management and advance dental-medical integration. PDS Health was among the first healthcare organizations to deploy PolyAI’s new direct integration with Epic. Additionally, the company opened nine de novo practices in seven states in August.
  • An MB2 Dental property in Yuba City, Calif., was sold for $1.65 million.
  • Effingham, Ill.-based Heartland Dental partnered with a practice in Williamsburg, Va.
  • Morrisville, N.C.-based Affordable Care completed a recapitalization transaction to reduce debt and improve its financial foundation for long-term growth.

At the Becker's 5th Annual Future of Dentistry Roundtable, taking place September 14-15 in Chicago, dental leaders and executives will gain insights into emerging technologies, practice growth strategies and the evolving landscape of dental care delivery, with a focus on innovation, patient experience and operational excellence.
