Here is what seven DSO giants have done since August:

- Franklin, Tenn.-based Specialized Dental Partners added practices in Texas and North Carolina.
- Woodside Health, a real estate private equity firm, acquired two medical properties in Virginia anchored by Sarasota, Fla.-based Dental Care Alliance.
- Henderson, Nev.-based PDS Health and United Concordia Dental launched a saliva screening pilot designed to improve periodontal disease management and advance dental-medical integration. PDS Health was among the first healthcare organizations to deploy PolyAI’s new direct integration with Epic. Additionally, the company opened nine de novo practices in seven states in August.
- An MB2 Dental property in Yuba City, Calif., was sold for $1.65 million.
- Effingham, Ill.-based Heartland Dental partnered with a practice in Williamsburg, Va.
