1. Chicago-based Aspen Dental closed one of its practice locations in Dunkirk, N.Y.
2. Nashville, Tenn.-based Specialty Dental Brands partnered with Lightspun, an AI-powered dental insurance administration platform, to automate its provider onboarding and credentialing.
3. Effingham, Ill.-based Heartland Dental launched Conuity Care Coordination to better connect general dentists, specialty providers and patients.
4. Henderson, Nev.-based PDS Health and United Concordia Dental launched a saliva screening pilot designed to improve periodontal disease management and advance dental-medical integration.
5. PDS Health was also among the first healthcare organizations to deploy PolyAI’s new direct integration with Epic.
6. Roseville, Minn.-based Park Dental Partners began investigating a data breach that may have exposed patient information.
