1. Roseanna Graham, DDS, PhD, was appointed interim dean of the Columbia University College of Dental Medicine.
2. Jill Keaton, DMD, was appointed dean of the University of Pikeville (Ky.) Tanner College of Dental Medicine.
3. Marnie Oakley, DMD, was appointed dean of the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine and president of University Dental Health Services.
4. Augusta (Ga.) University named Nancy Young, DMD, dean of its Dental College of Georgia.
5. The University of Michigan School of Dentistry in Ann Arbor appointed Jacques Nör, DDS, PhD, as its next dean.
6. Gerry Kugel, DMD, PhD, was selected to be the next dean of the Lincoln-based University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry.
7. Milwaukee-based Marquette University School of Dentistry appointed Elsbeth Kalenderian, DDS, PhD, its new dean.
8. Marcelo Araujo, DDS, PhD, began a new role as dean of the University of Buffalo (N.Y.) School of Dental Medicine May 15.
9. Angelo Mariotti, DDS, PhD, took over as dean of the Louisiana State University Health New Orleans School of Dentistry in January.
10. Saulius Drukteinis, DMD, PhD, was appointed dean of the Southern Illinois University Edwardsville School of Dental Medicine.
11. Batesville, Ark.-based Lyon College named Burke Soffe, DMD, dean of its upcoming dental school.
