2021

1. Overjet raised $42.5 million in Series B financing.

5. The University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine announced it would add artificial intelligence technology to its classrooms through a partnership with Bola AI.

6. Waltham, Mass.-based 42 North Dental announced its plans to fully roll out use of VideaHealth’s artificial intelligence technology after seeing positive results in its network. 

7. Bola AI and Pearl teamed up to combine their dental artificial intelligence products into one package.

4. VideaHealth added features to its VideaAI platform that helps DSOs and independent practices identify patients who may benefit from aligners or implants.

5. Cube Click received FDA approval for Smile Dx, its AI-powered diagnostic platform that can identify caries, root canals and periodontal disease at the radiographic pixel level.
